ROWE Launches Partnership with Britcar for 2024 Season
Premium oils and lubricants brand, ROWE, has extended its partnership with Britcar to include The British Endurance Championship (BEC). This collaboration aligns closely with ROWE’s extensive history and success in European endurance racing, with the brand eager to support both the Britcar Trophy Championship and British Endurance Championship in the 2024 season. MCOIL, the importer and distributor of ROWE in the UK, will sponsor ‘driver of the day’ for the two championships and competitors will be encouraged to use their sustainably manufactured range of products. MCOIL will also provide sustainable trophies for the poll teams across every round of each championship. ROWE is a leader in lubricant technology, drawing lessons from an extensive history of endurance racing to formulate products that unlock performance in the harshest conditions. The Britcar Trophy Championship will again run under a class structure, but with shorter races and no refuelling, open to any car whose performance does not match a GT4 or touring car. Races will each include a mandatory pitstop, allowing cars to be shared with two drivers if preferred. Trophy will share some weekends with Endurance but will also become the headline event on others. The mandated tyre is the Direzza trackday tyre, negating the extra cost of separate sets for wet and dry conditions.
The format of our weekends will stay the same: for both Endurance and Trophy categories, nearly all will be single-day events, representing an immediate saving on costs. For Endurance we will continue to offer both TV coverage and VIP Hospitality for drivers and teams at each round.
