Father and son duo Mark and Dale Albutt will contest the Britcar Endurance Championship in 2021, after a one-off appearance at Silverstone last year whetted their appetites. Their Aston Martin Vantage GT4 will be run by Dale’s newly-formed Triple M Automotive team, and the former Ginetta GT5 AM champion is looking to restore his title-winning ways after a quiet 2020, as he explains: "I want to progress further up in GT racing, and Britcar is the perfect place to get lots of seat time. I will be teaming up with my dad Mark who did some Porsche racing 13/14 years ago successfully. So once we get the rust off him we will be aiming for podiums in a very highly competitive Class 4. Our team are a very good bunch of lads, and we are all learning the car still as it’s a little different from a Ginetta GT5, but as the season goes on I’m sure we will be battling at the right end of the grid where my sponsors and partners have been used to seeing me".

Britcar welcomes yet another title aspirant to the grid.
