The Car
MKH Racing acquired its Aston Martin Vantage GT4 (Chassis 17A-020) in 2021, a car that has quickly become the team’s most successful and celebrated entry.
Powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine, the Vantage GT4 is built around a lightweight chassis derived from the Vantage road car. The car features extensive race-focused modifications including lightweight body panels, a large aerodynamic rear wing, and revised diffusers designed to increase downforce while reducing drag.
The suspension system, originally based on the road-going Vantage platform, has been significantly upgraded with motorsport-grade bushings and joints. The car runs Öhlins two-way adjustable dampers, allowing precise setup changes to suit different circuits and track conditions.
The Vantage GT4 is also equipped with Bosch Motorsport engine management, including advanced ABS and traction control systems that provide exceptional control and stability at the limit.
Since joining the MKH Racing stable, this Vantage GT4 has proven to be a dominant and reliable platform, securing multiple race victories and championships, including the 2022 British Endurance Championship title and Vice-Champion honours in 2023.
Thanks to its outstanding reliability and balanced performance, the car is perfectly suited to endurance racing such as Creventic events, as well as leading UK championships including GT Cup and Britcar.
The Aston Martin Vantage GT4 (17A) embodies MKH Racing’s philosophy: British engineering excellence combined with uncompromising performance.
