Jumping out of a perfectly healthy aeroplane is not a natural act but it’s a challenge Britcar’s managing director Claire Hedley immediately accepted in order to raise money for Parkinson’s U.K., a cause close to her heart.
Claire said “it’s something I’ve always wanted to do and having lost my father earlier this year to this terrible, debilitating disease I immediately accepted the opportunity”.
On Wednesday 19th August, Claire will tandem-jump with the cream of British airborne forces The Red Devils as part of their Employment Engagement day. This event offers a unique opportunity to experience a tandem parachute descent while gaining first-hand insight into the professionalism, skill, and teamwork of the Parachute Regiment.
