With the regular Britcar Driving Standards Observer, Kelvin Burt, otherwise engaged for our next round at Silverstone on 3rd May, Le Mans 24 Hour winner Danny Watts will be sitting alongside the Clerk of the Course offering his expert racing insight into any on-track incidents.

Danny has links with Britcar, being best known for having raced for the Strakka team in the Le Mans 24 Hours and the World Endurance Championship, a team which cut its endurance racing teeth in Britcar including an entry in the 2007 Britcar 24 Hours in a BMW M3. Strakka went on to compete at the highest levels in endurance racing including winning the LMP2 class of the Le Mans 24hrs in 2010 with Danny behind the wheel.

Danny’s career included stints at, the McLaren CEO Zach Brown owned, United Autosport with podium results at the Macau GT Grand Prix, A1GP with Team GB and Porsche Supercup with Lechner Racing.

You can catch all the action at Silverstone on the GP circuit on Saturday 3rd May where around 50 cars will be competing for honours or by watching the livestream on the BRSCC YouTube channel.
