Dom Malone stormed to pole position for AmSpeed Racing with a stunning last-lap effort, edging Innovation Racing by just two-hundredths of a second. Under overcast skies, Donington sets the stage for this afternoon’s 90-minute showdown. Qualifying delivered wheel-to-wheel battles, gravel excursions, and high drama.

Innovation Racing’s rookie squad came within a whisker of the top spot, but Britcar round-four winner Malone held firm. AmSpeed will lead a 30-car grid into the race.

Datum Motorsport’s Italian pairing landed class pole

Datum Motorsport’s Italian pairing topped the Ginetta Class, bouncing back after a tough Thruxton round. Woodrow Motorsport’s Callum Bates lit up the Trophy Class, leaping five grid spots to take second in class. The GT Class served up more fireworks: Team Brit locked out the front row, with Noah Cosby and Calleb McDuff chasing Aaron Morgan and Paul Fullick. Woodrow’s Nathan Wells missed pole by mere hundredths.

Rob Ellick and Fyn Jones claimed TCR pole, fending off EDF Motorsport’s Ash Woodman. JLC Motorsport’s Chris and Jamie Hayes took Cup Class honours, starting ahead of Team Brit’s Asha Silva and Bobby Trundley. With humidity rising and clouds looming, the grid is ready. At 2:00 p.m., the lights will go out and the battle begins.
