Having participated in the Donington round in 2024, Matthew Sanders and Jack Layton return to Britcar in their BMW. Dialing in the set up, the pair are already lapping faster than they did the year previous.
Layton, the chief driver coach at Goodwood and also coach to Sanders, had plenty of praise for his teammate, saying how he was lapping a second quicker every time he jumps in the car. Sanders, who’s recently raced at Imola and Goodwood, posted his quickest ever lap during qualifying for the race.
The pair both said that they preferred the shorter layout of Donington, that it had better flow as a track. Along with the Donington round, the pair will be back in the Suitsme BMW at Oulton Park, Sanders’ local track.
