When the Michelin Clio Cup series finished I used the eligible Road Series Clio in the Britcar Endurance Trophy Championship. Due to progressing in experience and ability I was offered the chance to step up to a Gen 4 Clio Race Car for one round at the end of 2020 in again the Britcar Endurance Trophy Championship with Spires Motorsport. On the back of a good weekend was offered the chance to drive the same car for a full season this year with again Spires Motorsport.
Team name: Spires Motorsport
Why did you choose to race with Britcar? I was attracted to the growing size of the grid which gave close racing with many competitors. Lacking extensive experience as a racer it was good to get onto a full grid which helps improve race craft. I also like the professionalism within the series and the huge efforts they go to making the series competitive and fair and the now attraction of media coverage which can help to attract fans and sponsors.
