Jamie Stanley steered John Seale’s JMH-run Lamborghini Huracan to a convincing win in the Britcar Endurance season-opener at Silverstone, finishing a clear lap ahead of the next Endurance runner, the Nissan GT3 of Richard Wheeler and Danny Harrison. Seale, starting from pole, let the fastest Pragas run ahead and trip over themselves, and settled in a trio of Franck Pelle’s similar machine, and Will Powell’s McLaren. An early pit stop by Seale got them on the undercut, and once the field had settled after the pit window closed, Stanley was never headed, commenting after the race; "It was very busy, but John had a good start and gave me an easy crack". Lucky Khera and Ross Wylie took Class 2 in the SGM Ferrari 488, while the 458 of Bon Grimes and Johnny Mowlem were Class 3 victors, and the competitive Class 4 went to Alex Day and Will Foster’s Cupra TCR.
