Valluga racing brought one of their Porsche 991 Cup cars to appear on our stand at Silverstone for the inaugural Motorsport Days Live show in November last year and now that car joins our grid for the 2019 season at the hands of Adam Hatfield. Britcar’s managing directory Claire Hedley said "Its great to see the Porsche snapped up by a new team and driver for the 2019 season – we expect Adam to be competitive in his class, given his prior GT4 experience."

Adam Hatfield said, "I am really happy to be joining Valluga and racing their Porsche 911 991 GT3 Cup in the 2019 Dunlop Endurance Championship. Going from a GT4 car to the Porsche only feels like the natural progression and the next step I needed for my career. We had a very successful first test day in the car on the 6th March and the team impressed me from the off so hopefully it can be a successful year ahead for us together".

Team Principal Benji Hetherington said "Britcar represents a great addition to a packed 2019 season for Valluga – the format changes for 2019 are well thought out and provide a great platform for competitive and cost effective racing.

Speaking of the team’s new driver, Benji continued, "From his first laps in the 991 at Brands Hatch, I was sure he was the guy to lead our Britcar programme this season. His track record speaks for itself but his ability to adapt to the unique driving style required for the 991 so quickly, impressed me right away. We will announce his team mate in due course but rest assured we are set for a great year with this driver line up and we have another 991 Cup Car ready to go in the workshop – plans are to introduce that from Brands Hatch onwards."
