Team HARD Racing today announce that they will be re-entering the Dunlop Endurance Championship for selected rounds of the 2020 season in the teams newly acquired Porsche 911 GT3 Cup.

The Dunlop Endurance series has been a mainstay in Team HARD. Racings championship roster for several years and the team claimed the GT4 title in 2018 with drivers Tom Barley and Simon Rudd driving a Ginetta G55. In recent seasons the team have limited its entry to the ‘Into the night’ finale held at Brands Hatch, but this year Tony Gilham’s squad are looking to be a permanent force in the series.

Gilham commented "It’s great to be back in the Dunlop Endurance Championship for 2020. At the moment we will only be contesting in selected rounds with the view to completing the whole season with Nick and Harry if everything lines up.

The series is a fantastic proving ground for some of our younger drivers and this year is no exception and I’m looking forward to seeing how the pairing of Nick and Harry get on. Nick has been with the team for a number of years, winning multiple races in our Ginetta G55’s. Mixing Nicks consistency with his Porsche background is going to be fantastic for this pairing.

We are also expecting Nick to be able to push Harry onto the next level of his racing career. Harry proved to us that he has incredible potential at our recent scholarship competition so I’m taking a keen interest in his development.

This is certainty a very strong pairing and I can’t wait for the racing to get back underway."

Scott-Dickeson is delighted remain with the team for the 2020 season. "It’s an absolute dream start to the new decade for me. A massive thank you must go to Tony (Gilham) for giving me the chance to make this drive possible, I’m really looking forward to this challenge in a car I know so well.

I have a fantastic team behind me, and we have great potential to hit the ground running and win plenty of silverware in 2020 to add to our success together from the previous two seasons.

I’m also looking forward to joining my new teammate Harry in the car for this year. He came runner up in the team’s scholarship competition at the beginning of this year so clearly has the potential to mix it at the front of the field. I feel that together we will form one of the top partnerships on the grid."

Mailer, who came runner in the team’s scholarship competition at the beginning of 2020 is looking forward to joining the team. "I’m really looking forward to jumping in the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car for the upcoming season and working with Team HARD Racing.

I finished second in scholarship held by the team earlier this year which was a fantastic experience and I learnt a lot about myself in terms of what I’m capable of and how I can improve.

I’m excited to see what lies ahead for me this season and what I can achieve with the team in 2020. The Porsche GT3 cup car is amazing piece of kit and I can’t wait to see what I am able to do with it."

With the current race season on hold due to the COVID-19 crisis it is still unknown when racing will get underway in 2020. Motorsport UK have suspended the season until at least the 30th April 2020.
