Simon Baker is no stranger to the Britcar Endurance Championship, some forays in 2017 yielding Class 4 trophies, and now he is back for a full season, in a newly-built BMW 1-Series Coupe.

Constructed and run by Ed Platt and Ash Bird of Woodrow Motorsport (the technical wizards behind title-winning Moss Motorsport), the rather special BMW is now going through it’s final development, and Simon is relishing the season ahead: “Now that my car is complete I feel I can fully commit to racing and aim to be competitive with the front runners in my Class. As a small business owner I see this as an opportunity, with Britcar media coverage and hospitality, to develop a relationship with existing and new customers in the motorsport industry, together with developing future business relationships."

Great to see that Simon will be maximising the opportunities of the Britcar experience, which encompass more that the pure enjoyment of racing in a competitive environment.
