Martin Addison made the transition to Britcar Endurance racing from several years of Caterham and saloon championships last season, and made an immediate impact in the GT category in an Aston Martin Vantage, a mid-season switch to a newer model of the same car putting him in contention for class honours, finishing second in the final standings and taking the coveted Driver Of The Year Award. He returns for the 2026 season, though will be sharing driving duties this time with dad Bill Addison, an experienced Caterham exponent, who steps back into the cockpit after serving as team manager last season, as Martin explains: “Although heavily involved on the pit wall in 2025, Bill is a racer at heart and was keen to return to competition. Our pairing builds on a strong debut season in Britcar, with the team aiming to convert consistent performances into a first class victory after narrowly missing out last year. The 2026 Britcar calendar promises to be one of the most exciting yet, highlighted by a return to the iconic Spa-Francorchamps circuit. It marks a special venue for us, having last raced together at Spa during the demanding Funcup 25 Hour race“.
