EDF Motorsports are pleased to announce their return to the Britcar paddock for the 2026 season. They are also excited to reunite with Ashley Woodman, who will be piloting his new Ligier JS2R.

After several successful tests, Ashley has been getting to grips with the car. Transitioning back to a mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout for the first time in over a decade presents a fresh challenge, but the Ligier is a fantastic machine.

Ash noted: “The Ligier is a great car, but it’s very different from the TCR cars I’ve been used to. It’s a new challenge to be back in a rear-wheel-drive, mid-engine car after more than 10 years – and I’m really enjoying the process”.

The EDF team and their driver are all looking forward to the opening round in a couple of weeks. Team manager Eddie Farrow said “it’s great to have Ash back with the team and we can’t wait to get started!“.
