Following a successful karting career, teenager Archie Buttle made his car racing debut with some late-season forays in the Britcar Endurance Championship last year, transitioning seamlessly to sports cars to become a consistent frontrunner in the Trophy Class. Driving the Vortice Motorsport Ginetta G56,he quickly established himself as a qualifying specialist, with a season highlight at Oulton Park, where he secured pole position in the Trophy class, and ran as high as sixth overall, showcasing pace that rivalled more experienced GT4 contenders, as he alludes, “The 2025 season wasn’t as I was expecting, but I’m incredibly grateful for it. To end the season racing in national endurance events and being fastest in class gives us massive momentum heading into 2026“.
Freddie Ingram will also be lining up with Vortice Motorsport driving the #69 Ginetta in Trophy class for 2026. This move follows a strong showing at Brands Hatch last season, where, sharing a Ginetta with Archie, he demonstrated significant pace. Freddie’s step into Britcar Endurance follows his transition into car racing, building on a strong foundation in competitive karting at international level.
