Matty Taylor’s MT Development team will debut their newly-acquired KTM XBOW GT4 EVO SPX in the Challenge class of the 2026 Britcar Endurance Championship, with Matty himself looking to drive the majority of rounds, with potential shared drives available for the second half of the season. With a racing history on two, three and four wheels in Enduro, Sidecar Motocross and club racing in a variety of machines, the British Army veteran of 26 years’ service has spent the last few years building up his Motorsport team, and following a recent spell in the 750mc Club Enduro championship in a Holden Commodore V8 Supercar, is now ready to take the leap into Britcar, as he explains: “It has been a lot of hard work getting to the position I am now, I’ve only been able to race a few rounds here and there over the last few seasons, and I’m so excited to get back into a Championship and to race hard as part of a team. Joining Britcar has always been a goal of mine, it’s a big jump in standard and cars but hopefully we can get onto the pace and push forward in the pack“.
Britcar welcomes Matty and MT Development to the grid and wishes them a safe and successful season.
