TrueMix Racing are proud to announce their entry to the Britcar Endurance Championship with the KTM GT2 SPX, becoming the first team to race this model in the UK. Tom Walpole and Marc Kemp will compete in the famous Nürburgring 24 Hours class-winning car, number 177 – a proven race winner that has also taken victory in the GT2 European Series.
Built around KTM’s lightweight philosophy, the GT2 SPX combines advanced aerodynamics, significant downforce and serious performance, making it one of the most exciting GT2 machines currently competing in Europe.
Tom Walpole says, “the GT2 SPX represents a major step forward in performance and capability, and for TrueMix Racing to campaign a car with this level of pedigree is a real privilege. As KTM’s official UK ambassador, it’s an honour to represent the brand and introduce this incredible car to British racing.
“This marks an exciting new chapter for the team and we look forward to building on its success and competing at the front. I’m also really looking forward to sharing the car with Marc Kemp, who is not only a close friend but also someone who has coached and supported me throughout my racing journey. To now line up on the grid together in such an incredible car makes this programme even more special“.
