Elliot and Ian Wilson are returning in their Ginetta G56 GTA to Britcar in 2026 after a successful first year in the championship in 2025. The father and son team managed a few visits to the podium in the Trophy class but weren’t able to contest enough rounds to challenge for the overall class win or Britcar podium position.
Ian says “We enjoyed the close but fair racing, and the professionalism of the Championship last year. We also learned a lot about the car and how to get the best out of it in the Britcar racing format. So we both wanted to return in 2026 to see if putting all of that learning into practice will give us more consistent performances”. Ian and Elliot will be driving for Velocity Racing this year and the car will have updated livery showing their new sponsor for 2026, FlowX.AI
