Silvertone’s International (south) circuit will see possibly its biggest grid ever as the Britcar Endurance Championship 2017 season kicks off on Sunday 9th April, with a massive 33 already signed up and still more showing interest in what’s already looking to be a bumper year for Britain’s foremost endurance race series.

Configured now with two different categories, Endurance Champion and Sprint Champion, the Endurance category will run with a maximum race length of 2 hours with a race meeting consisting of a 2-hour race and a 50-minute race, giving endurance competitors a mix of racing: flat out sprint and a tactical endurance. Both the 2-hour race and the 50-minute race will count towards the Endurance Championship.

The Sprint category will comprise 2 x 50 minute races, the first will be a combined 50-minute race with the Endurance competitors and the second will be integrated in the 2-hour race.
