The Project 29:7 Racing team will compete in their first race at the final Britcar Endurance Championship event of the season, the classic ‘Into the Night’ race at Brands Hatch, with the intention of competing for the Championship in 2026.
Formed in the summer by ex-BTCC ace Paul O’Neill and MX5 racer Alex Miller to compete in customer GT racing, 29:7 will bring their endurance prepared Ginetta G56 GTA to Britcar to challenge the top runners in the Trophy class.
Alex said “We have long had an eye on the Britcar Endurance Championship as a series we wanted to compete in, and are very pleased to be making our debut at such an iconic event for the championship. Clair and the team at Britcar have worked hard to provide a series that provides great GT racing while still maintaining the Corinthian spirit that we love in national motorsport“.
Paul said “Alex and I have been talking about launching a team together for a while now, our charity bike rides around Europe have given us plenty of time to talk! We are looking at a full Britcar season next year and would love to take our drivers on a journey up the GT racing ladder“.
With experienced drivers Carl Garnett and Darron Lewis, in for the Brands race, the team at Project 29:7 Racing are well prepared and are serious contenders for a podium spot.
