We have been advised by the WEC organisers that the date for the Britcar Dunlop Endurance non-championship race at Spa-Francorchamps has been re-arranged for Saturday August 15th. Britcar teams will, of course need to be at the circuit in advance of that date for Scrutineering, Free Practice and Qualifying. We will advise full details in the near future.
The organisers stress that this date is, for the moment, provisional, and dependent on the cessation of the current COVID-19 situation, as this abridged extract from their official notification states “The WEC’s Series 8 will restart with the TOTAL 6hrs of Spa-Francorchamps on Saturday August 15th. It should be understood, of course, that this calendar is subject to further change according to the evolution of the current health crisis, or because of the calendars of other FIA World Championships”.
