Car 88 finished 2nd in the Clio Cup class, the most competitive class in the ROWE Britcar Trophy Championship. Throughout the 2023 season, the team scored multiple race wins, podiums and fastest laps and lead the championship overall and in class at various points.
Andy Tucker will continue in his second season in the car and with the High Row Motorsport team, aiming to build on his debut front wheel drive season and go for the championship.
The team are now searching for a fast driver with budget to partner Andy for the season with the same goal of winning the championship. Team support will provided by High Row Motorsport run by Max Coates, who was a regular championship challenger in the Clio Cup cars thoroughly 2016 – 2019.
Max says, “I’m delighted that Andy is continuing with High Row Motorsport next season in one of our Clio Cup cars, they’re a great car for developing drivers and Andy is testament to that with his progression throughout 2023. Andy came very close to winning the championship last year having driven with three different team mates during the season. He grew as a driver on and off track and we’re looking forward to supporting Andy and a team mate in his goal to win the championship.”
