Maurizio Sciglio began this session at the top of the times, maintaining his position until the BMW of Bryan Bransom and Jas Sapra rose to the top of the timesheets after improving by two tenths in the middle sector. However in a last ditch effort, pole position was taken back by Maurizio Sciglio, setting the fastest time and securing his place at the front of the grid.

Third position in this qualifying session was taken by the Ginetta of Sebastian Dubois, ahead of the Ginetta’s of lone drivers, Marco Anastasi and Robin Grimwood, who after running in third at different points during the session, finished in fourth and fifth respectively.
