Britcar is extremely sad to hear that legendary commentator Brian Jones has passed away. The “Voice of Brands” was also for many years also the ” Voice of Britcar”, and Britcar staff and competitors through the years have enjoyed his convivial company and kind, humorous commentary. Always focusing on the human side of a story rather than the “cogs and sprockets”, his signature lines – “high, wide and handsome”, “a long and ardous day”, and “tolerably well” – are part of motorsport legend. Brian was an important part of Britcar’s growth, and we send our condolences to his wife Ros, his family, and to his many, many friends.
