The Dunlop Endurance Championship’s television package will receive a significant boost in 2017, with additional coverage from two new broadcasters ensuring that the championship reaches its biggest audience to date.

As well as continuing to receive highlights coverage on both Motorsport.tv (formerly Motors TV) and Sky Sports, the championship’s production partner,
Pro-Active Television, has secured a deal with the UK’s only free-to-air sports channel, Front Runner.

Launched in October, Front Runner is available on Freeview channel 91 and is available in 19 million homes across the country, via Freeview, FreeSat, YouView, Talk Talk, BT and Sky.

Furthermore, the championship’s global audience is set to grow significantly, thanks to a new deal with online behemoth, Motor Trend on Demand – the world’s premier automotive video destination.

With over 4.8 million subscribers to its YouTube channel, Motor Trend on Demand covers a wide variety of high profile international championships, including the Blancpain Sprint GT championship, the DTM, European F3 and highlights of the BTCC, as well a number of its own hugely popular original automotive series.

Every round of the 2017 Dunlop Endurance Championship will be televised and in addition to coverage from four separate broadcasters, there will be increased social media activity throughout the season. This will include several Facebook Live reports being posted by the film crew at each event.
