Britcar, promoters of the British Endurance Championship and the Britcar Trophy, two of the UK’s leading racing series, has confirmed that it has extended its partnership with Goodyear Tyres in a multi-year agreement.

The Britcar family of championships covers a wide range of cars, ranging from GT3 exotica to production based saloons and one-make series, such as Renault Clio Cup and Ginetta categories.

Michael Butler, Sales Account Manager, Goodyear Racing, stated: “Our partnership with Britcar gives its drivers an equivalent level of service as BTCC, Le Mans 24h and the FIA World Endurance Championship. We are delighted to extend a partnership with one of the most important championships on the national racing scene“.

Claire Hedley, Managing Director of Britcar added: “From the Goodyear family of brands, British Endurance Championship drivers have a choice of Goodyear slicks and wets to suit the vast array of eligible cars. We also mandate the Dunlop Direzza semi-slick ‘List 1C’ competition tyre for the Trophy Championship. We are proud of our long-standing relationship with a company that brings world class service to national racing“.

The Goodyear and Dunlop tyres will be serviced and supplied by Daventry based HP Tyres, who will be present at all British Endurance Championship and Britcar Trophy events. Britcar will run seven race meetings in 2024, including events at leading UK circuits such as Silverstone, Brands Hatch and Donington.
