The Britcar Prototype Cup is inviting all prototypes and sports-racing cars to get involved in the next round at Brands Hatch on 22nd & 23rd April. The Britcar team is looking to increase the grid to 20+ cars with attractive packages now available.

Offering a rare opportunity to race prototype and sports-racing cars outside of the usual one-make scenario, the Prototype Cup pits various types of machinery in discrete classes while sharing the same grid.

The two-driver format has the attraction of splitting the running costs for competitors in two 25-minute races, and with a mandatory pit-stop in the 50-minute feature race, allows a team-based strategic aspect to the competition; the winner of each class appears on the podium.

Special offer from team Mittell Cars

For the Brands Hatch round of the Prototype Cup, Mittell Cars is offering a shared seat in the team’s second R1, the R1 won by the team in last year’s Praga Cup. The weekend format is testing on Friday with 4 x 30-minute sessions, 30-minute qualifying, 2 x 25-minute sprint races and a 50-minute pitstop race.
