SVG Motorsport had a successful 2021 in the Britcar Trophy Championship, claiming the runner-up spot in Classes 1 and 2, and the team are expanding for 2022, looking for further success. As well as being busy running the discrete Ginetta G40 Class in the championship, Andy Johnson’s squad will renew their assault in Class 1, where erstwhile lone driver Mark Lee will share his Ginetta G56A with Owen Hizzey, and will be joined on the grid by Neil Wallace and Ian Astley in a similar machine (main photo), while Class 2 front-runner Peter Spano returns in his Ginetta G40, competing under the Ramen Racing banner with regular co-driver Andrew Bentley.
