Tony Witney returns to the Trophy grid as the solo driver of a Porsche 997 S, this time to be run by Porsche specialists Sussex-based SW Engineering.

Tony said “2024 will be my fifth season racing and third season in Britcar Trophy. Last season was challenging due to some reliability issues with the new car but the team at SW Engineering have been busy over the winter making various improvements that we hope will translate to a better year.

I won’t pretend that I’m not competitive, that should be a given. But my main racing priority is to have fun in a professionally run series, alongside drivers that race hard and fair with respect towards each other. That is why I am returning again to Britcar with my Taf Tyres Jersey and JTC liveried Porsche 911. I can’t wait to get going, it’s been a long winter.
